Week 4 – The Foursay and Singko Families

Note: this blog is mainly just for myself…I hate forgetting what happened to my sims and even with album pics, sometimes it’s hard to know what happened. I find dealing with screenshots entirely unappealing at this point, so it’s all text. That’s why I say it’s mostly for me…I have all the pics to look at when I want, mwah ha ha. Actually I’m in the process of putting all pics in the Sims2 photo albums so I can again use the storybook viewer..but even getting the pics in the album in game is a freaking hassle..eventually though, I’ll provide a link to the albums as a whole, but these entries will likely remain their boring selves.

In the Foursay House:
Both the grandparents are dead now. It’s sad. But one of them got a platinum grave, so that’s cool. On Day 27 Poppu Foursay received a 20k bonus from his Athletic job, woo hoo!! Half of it was quickly spent on a new car. Even though he’s not a fortune sim (he’s popularity, just like his sister Best Friend), he’s still pretty materialistic. The Foursay family significantly renovated the house after the elder Wife’s death.

As soon as Best Friend (Poppu’s female twin) turned into an adult, she woo-hooed with Ray, the guy who’s been living in their house for awhile (and who is quite hot). I had played with the idea of making him the father of her baby, which I still may do but…he is a romance sim, and she is a popularity sim – so trying to have a relationship while in the same house would be very hard. I might have to move him somewhere else after impregnating her, or I might have to pick someone else to father her child. I’ve got some time though, I’d like to get her halfway through her career before having kids. BTW: Best Friend and Poppu are quite attractive!! I don’t think I have a picture of their mother, I think I deleted her in CAS..sad.

So far the only two infants/toddlers in the neighborhood are BOTH FATHERED BY LADE BACH SINKGO – and he’s not even a family or romance sim! He’s pleasure (but also one of my favorite sims, seeing as how he’s based on a sim I played in the Legacy challenge that I really liked). The oldest Una girl (Lover Girl – Romance) has been in love with Lade Bach ever since she turned into an adult – she’s now raising her baby without him (though he still visits somewhat frequently):

Her younger sister still lives at the house with her, a pleasure sim who wants to have 50 first dates (think I can do that, but it will be a challenge…I have to keep a running tab, she’s at about 12 dates so far after the 4th? week of play in that house.)

In the Singko House (Lade Bach), Lade Bach proposed to Nerissa, a knowledge sim whom he fell in love with. He got a little lonely living alone, honestly. So they got married, had a few people from the neighborhood at the party (not the Una girl, obviously!) and had a decent time. That was around day 22 (thank you JM Pescado for the lot sync timer), after Nerissa had already become pregnant. I usually do best with sims that aren’t all about popularity or romance…so keeping Nerissa (knowledge) and Lade Bach (pleasure) satisfied is fairly easy (particulary because Lade Bach got a great bonus *40k or so at the end of Week1 and can pretty much afford anything. (edit: it was 75K!! Go Lade Bach. I love him.)

Anyway, on day 23 Lade Bach reached the top of the Slacker track, giving him Permaplat status. Yay! His job isn’t very demanding, so he’ll be able to help out a lot with the baby. Day 25: the baby is born…sadly I momentarily forgot what the signs meant and the “boy/girl” dialogue was already gone…and I gave the female infant a male name: Hedon. She is a pleasure sim just like her father. On day 26 Lade Bach got a demotion (dammit!) and Nerisa started work on her own LTW: to become a mad scientist. At the same time she’s working on maxing her skills…she’s in that energizer machine all the time! On day 27, Saturday of week 4, Lade Bach drank from the Elixir – he’s got 6 extra days of adulthood (not much!)

All the adults in the neighborhood are nearing their elder years, so the generations are slowly beginning to change..by the end of week 4 there should be 3 new babies in the neigborhood.

I’m currently about to complete week 4 with the Singkos, then will move on to the Seisen family (also about to have a baby! After raising a teenage boy and 2 toddlers by himself, he’s ready to have some ADULTS in the house!!) and then the last family on my playlist is Romeo La Trez from family3 – he’s a romance sim and just HAD to have his own place!! There are several sims in the neighborhood falling in love with him…he’s not the best looking dude, but he’s got some kind of charm. He gave Fortune Dosten her first kiss on the day she turned into an adult!

I believe Lade Bach Singko is the first sim in my game to achieve Perma Plat. Yay me!

Next entry will focus on the Seisens and possibly Romeo La Trez (it seems to take me forever to play a week in some houses…more sims, more time to micromanage all of them..sigh)
